Breathroot provides guided hypnotherapy and guided hypnosis practices for wellness and self-development. This policy explains the information Breathroot collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
- Account information, including email address, password credentials stored as a secure hash, acceptance records, and login/session identifiers.
- Processing Style assessment answers and results, visualization preferences, practice preferences, and account settings.
- Daily practice, Builder, Foundations, favorites, reviews, playback, progress, and session-history information.
- Typed Foundations journal entries and optional notes submitted to support, access requests, reviews, or account deletion requests.
- Subscription or access status from app stores, RevenueCat when enabled, or Breathroot administrators.
- Operational information needed for security, troubleshooting, media delivery, and service reliability.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, personalize guided hypnosis practices, save progress and preferences, provide support, administer access, protect the service, process account deletion, and improve reliability. Breathroot does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Service providers and storage
Breathroot uses service providers that may process information on our behalf, including hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare, email delivery providers, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat when purchases are enabled. Application data and media are stored on Breathroot-managed systems and protected public delivery services. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while the account is active. An account deletion request begins a 30-day cancellation period. When the deadline passes, Breathroot removes the login identity and user-owned assessment, practice, journal, preference, review, history, generated-session, access, and application subscription records. Breathroot retains an anonymized deletion-completion audit that cannot be used to sign in or identify the former account.
Your choices
You can request deletion in Settings > Account > Request account deletion. You can cancel during the 30-day period when you sign in. See the Data Deletion page for details.
Safety and sensitive information
Do not put emergency, medical, or highly sensitive information in optional notes or journal fields. Breathroot is not an emergency or medical service.
Children
Breathroot is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under the minimum age required in your location.
